What we actually do

We measure, specify, manufacture to order and install: interior blinds, external shading, roller shutters, folding-arm awnings, zip screens, motorisation and motorised curtain tracks. One trade, done end to end, so there is nobody to blame if a bracket lands in the wrong place.

Why we do not have a showroom

Because a showroom lies to you about light. A fabric that looks perfect under downlighters behaves completely differently on a north-facing ridge window at three in the afternoon. A consultant brings the samples to your room, at the hour that bothers you, and you choose in the light you will actually live with.

How we quote

In writing, itemised per window. You can see what each opening costs, take any of them out, or phase the house over two seasons. Lead times go on the quote in writing too — we would rather say four weeks and hit it than promise two and disappoint you.

What we will not do

• Quote a made-to-measure product off a price list. It cannot be done honestly.
• Sell you a motor for a guest bathroom because the margin is better.
• Call a shading roller shutter a security product. It is not one, and we say so on the page.
• Take a repair job on a blind that is genuinely past saving.

Child safety

Every corded or chained blind we fit gets a tensioner anchored to the wall as standard, not on request. In nurseries, playrooms and low windows we will steer you towards cordless, wand-tilt or motorised controls so there is nothing hanging at all.
